Joining the All African People’s Revolutionary Party (AAPRP) in 1976 introduced me to Pan Africanism and Senior organizers like those in this photo (left to rt: Kwame Ture CC cadre with the AAPRP, Sis. Niamba -new member, Lige Daily Soledad Prison Poets, Tuwanire- AAPRP cadre, and me-Moya Mzuri -new member) who educated and trained us to develop our consciousness through regular study and Campus/community organizing. Here we just completed a KT speaking event at Stanford University.
